EDISON JAZZ AWARD WINNER 2000

With the by Hans Dulfer produced fourth Mackintosh-album ‘Black Girl' Lils won in 2000 the Edison Jazz Award, thanks to her ability to challenge herself constantly in other musical directions. The (in 1999 recorded) CD was a tribute to the legendary American blues singer/guitarist Huddie Ledbetter.

Lils received this award in 2000 at the North Sea Jazz Festival, The Hague, Holland.
